Would that you could, would you choose to make a difference in the lives around you?

Would you ease the hurting ache of loneliness?

Would you calm the terrors of fear?

Would you laugh with those who are rejoicing, and mourn with those in sorrow?

Would you shape this night and the coming morrow to be better than this day has been?

Would you bring a glimmer of light and hope to a world that is growing dim?

Then love.

Just love.

For love is listening, and love is caring. Love befriends the outcast and bewildered, it calms the frightened and shelters the weak. Love helps shoulder the burden, and multiplies the joy.

It lets one know they are not alone....and that can make all the difference.
