Love each other. There's too much hatred in the world as is.

I'm tired and cranky from still feeling wretched (but I am feeling better than the last four or five days, thanks be to God)...and sad over the state of the world. Just so much heartbreak. So much sorrow.

We can't, most of us, enable great change in the world. We can't talk people into stopping warring, or ending persecution, or ceasing unjust policies.

But we can love our families and our friends. We can spread peace and kindness and compassion within our own little circles and communities. Maybe if enough of us do that, work for love and peace as well as pray for it, it will ripple outward.

Love each other. There's too much hatred in the world as is.....don't add to it. Be light in a dark world, gentleness in a harsh one, kindness in an often cruel life.
