I find it sadly telling

I find it sadly telling how easy it is to condemn others for their faults, viewpoints and perceived sins and how few people truly examine themselves.
Paul admonished Christians to examine themselves for sins...but how many do so?
Jesus said the two greatest commandments are, paraphrased, to love God with all that you are, and to love your neighbor as yourself. I can't even get these two commandments fulfilled completely daily. I fail in these; the most fundamental of Christians tenets. Who am I then to cast stones at another?
It is one thing to live your faith so others can see its real impact upon your life. It is also good to share, in love and gentleness and respect, why you believe as you do. Your life, if you are a Christian, should be a constant reflection of the glory of the Gospel, as best you can live it. It is another thing altogether to be a self righteous prig, casting verbal stones and being a Pharisee masquerading as a Disciple of Jesus Christ.
Common people, hurting people, sinful people, lonely people and outcasts all flocked to Jesus because of His transforming love and message. If those same people stay away from you because of how you are representing Jesus....then your approach is all wrong.
Be blessed, my friends, and may you be a blessing unto someone else,
Beth
