If you choose to always live in drama, always seek the next fight or issue to be offended at- then do not be surprised when your life is not one of peace. There are things worth being in a fuss over...but I think we've become a culture that likes things stirred up. We disdain calm, peace, moderation in views and are often unwilling to acknowledge others have a right to viewpoints that differ from
our own.

But how much life people miss from always going from one tempest to another. For richness in life is found in the deep and peaceful times; a sunset chat with friends, a cup of tea in the garden, hearing the laughter of children or watching a dog romp. Peace is found in quiet contemplation of God, in listening to your parents tell stories, in star gazing or finishing a good book or concert.

Don't let the endless conflicts and dramas of this life sweep you along in its current; you'll miss too much of what is truly important then.

Be blessed friends, and be a blessing to someone else.
