For my friends of the Christian faith....
Who often feel unworthy ...
Who think of God with dire trepidation ....
Who question God's love for you? (Who might be thinking, right this moment ....how can God really love me? Doesn't He know how messed up I am? What I've done?)
Breathe. Pray. Trust. Love.
God knows you. The good, the bad and even the ugly. Your thoughts, words and deeds. Your best moments and deepest failures. Your shining acts and foulest secrets
He always has. And loves you anyway.
Before Christ went to the Cross, your faults, foibles and transgressions yet to come were known. Every time you'd fail, fall or trip someone else was already known to God. Your bad temper, cutting words and sinful nature were no secret to the God that knew you before the formation of the earth.
And Christ went to the Cross for you anyway.
Because ....as flawed as you are, you are still His. As much as you stumble, He is there to pick you up. As much as you are broken, He will make you whole.
The God who knows all....knows you.
And loves you. Completely.
